If your Master Component is attached to a color TV, slide middle button on System Changer to COLOR. If attached to a black-and-white TV, slide button to BLK/WHT. [Page 4] 2. Make sure that the ON/OFF switch on your Master Component is OFF. 3. Insert Atari 2600 compatible game cartridge into System Changer cartridge port. 4. Turn the ON/OFF switch of Master Component ON. A game playfield will appear on your TV screen. 5. When using multi-game cartridges, select game you wish to play by pressing GAME SELECT button once or more times in succession. Stop when your game is selected on your TV screen. Pressing GAME SELECT more than necessary will automatically restart your selection from zero. When using single-play cartridges, ignore this button completely. 6. Set game difficulty for left or right hand controller by sliding LEFT DIFFICULTY or RIGHT DIFFICULTY button to either A or B position. A for more difficulty, B for less. 7. To restart a game you are playing, press GAME RESET. NOTE: Always check game program directions supplied with each game cartridge, as button functions and game procedures may change from cartridge to cartridge. Using the Master Component Hand Controllers 1. You can play Atari 2600-compatible games with your Intellivision Hand Controllers on the Master Component. After RESET simply press the Hand Controller Disc to initialize the System. Then begin game play. Atari Joystick Controllers are not required. However, should the game require Paddle Controllers, you must use those (sold separately). [Page 5] 2. Pressing any of the four side buttons on the Intellivision(r) Hand Controller is the same as pressing the auction button on the Atari Joystick Controller. 3.
